Description

Nauti Sisters Sea Farm is a small-scale, women-owned oyster farm in Yarmouth, Maine. Since 2020, we’ve built a community around sustainability, storytelling, and delicious Maine oysters. We’re proud to offer immersive farm tours that highlight aquaculture, working waterfronts, and the salty charm of coastal Maine. After a successful 2025 tour season completing more than 200 trips, we’re growing and we’re on the lookout for both a full-time Captain and Tour Manager, and part-time/on-call Captains to join our team in 2025.

We are hiring for two types of roles:

  • A full-time Captain and Tour Manager
  • Part-time or on-call Captains interested in weekends or occasional shifts

  • Sharing knowledge and building community
  • Coastal stewardship and sustainable seafood

We’re not just hiring a captain, we’re seeking a storyteller and host who loves the water, enjoys teaching, and takes pride in delivering unforgettable experiences. The ideal candidate thrives on guest interaction, enjoys storytelling, and can confidently operate a vessel while ensuring a safe, educational, and fun environment. You’ll lead small-group boat tours (up to 6 guests) from the Royal River in Yarmouth to our floating oyster farm, guiding guests through the process of oyster farming and offering hands-on opportunities like harvesting cages and tasting oysters on board.

  • Confident boat handling and navigation skills (familiarity with the Royal River a plus)
  • Great with people and have excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Passionate about the ocean, aquaculture, and sharing knowledge
  • Comfortable shucking oysters (or excited to learn)
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Available weekends and holidays

Additional Info
